What if

What if one day all the birds dropped out of the sky,

or if all the flowers bent down to touch the devastated earth.

What if one day there wasn’t a sound of bees buzzing in the air?

Would we do something then.

What if one day there wasn’t but a star in the sky,

would we all cry?

Or would we just proceed like nothing happened,

as that is the standard conformity of how we are already living.

Just because we cannot see the immediate effects,

does not mean they are not occurring.

How many are crying now?

The time to change is now.
