How Do You Want to Show Up in the World?
How do you want to show up in the world? This is a question that has been weighing heavy on my mind recently. Please take a minute to really digest that question and give yourself an honest answer. Because lately I’ve been experiencing life in ways I’ve never experienced before.
I seem to be surrounded by invigorating, creative, and beautiful energy these days. I exude positivity, and in return, receive it back in the most humble ways possible. I’m so grateful to be alive. To be here in this day. To show up in this world and have the impact of inspiring and making differences in other peoples lives. Whether it be a thought, my words, or my actions. We all serve specific roles in the world. Mine is to influence and inspire others to see the beauty within themselves and in life, as well as to create change within the environment.
I love myself and I love my impact. I’m creating my mark. I urge everyone to find their calling whatever it may be, and attune to it. Follow your inner voice and your inner passions. Allow yourself to live life the way you’ve always envisioned and dreamed of, because life’s to short to hide behind your dreams.
For a long time, I did not allow myself to do what my soul truly desired. I would not step out of my comfort zone, simply because I feared rejection. I was too busy thinking about how people would perceive me, and forgot to focus on the moment that truly matters, the present moment. There is something so magical about living life presently and fully engaged in interactions. Life becomes so much more beautiful when I am able to be fully immersed in all my interactions.
Life is a journey, and the path I want to lead is a path of free living and allowing myself to do what my heart truly desires. I can say I have finally been able to do this by truly accepting and loving who I am. Even the things I think I could be better at; but guess what? We are always growing, and most definitely always learning. Everyday, we are fed new information. What we decide to do with that information is where the magic truly lives. I have recently changed what I do with the knowledge I gain day by day. I made the switch to back up my knowledge with more action. I find that I am leading a more productive lifestyle when I actually use the knowledge that I gain. I urge everyone to do the same, because life is way too short to have “What If’s”, and to hide that beautiful person urging to break free. The best thing we can do for ourselves and for the world is to simply be ourselves.
